Maplewood’s Scholastic Book Fair 2025!
Get ready for Maplewood’s Fall Book Fair! Proceeds from our fair go towards Maplewood PTA, library resources, student scholarships and classroom libraries. Our fair runs November 17th-21st in the Maplewood Library.
Book Fair Hours ~ In the Maplewood Library
11/17 Mon 8am to 5:00pm
11/18 Tues 8am to 5:00pm
11/19 Wed 8am to 5:00pm
11/20 Thurs 8am to 7:00pm
11/21 Friday 8am to 3:30pm
*Families, friends & neighbors welcome after 2:30pm
Family Information
- Students will attend the book fair during their scheduled library time (Thursday or Friday). Many classes have a preview visit earlier in the week.
- Families, friends and neighbors may attend any day afterschool!
- Thursday 11/20 the book fair is open LATE until 7:00pm!
- You may want to consider purchasing a book for your teacher, a past teacher, or a staff member. During the fair, the teachers and staff will select books they’d like to add to their classroom library and place them in a ‘book bin’ for families to purchase.
What to do before your child’s library time (week of Nov 17th)
- You may set up your child’s eWallet for a cashless fair starting now – Scholastic eWallet signup. eWallet allows you to put funds directly on your child’s book fair account – they don’t have to manage anything! Cash, checks (made out to Maplewood PTA), credit cards and phone “tap” payments are all accepted at the fair.
- When setting up your ewallet, you have the option to make a donation to ‘Share the Fair’. Any funds raised here will go toward book purchases for teacher classrooms. This is an easy way to support our teachers without attending the fair.
- Cash, checks (made out to Maplewood PTA), credit cards and phone “tap” payments are all accepted at the fair
Volunteers
We need volunteers! Support the fair by volunteering – sign ups available here: https://signup.com/go/tzLAYTs. Volunteering at the book fair includes register sales, helping students choose books, and keeping items stocked and organized.
